Agnieszka Srokosz is, inter alia, the laureate of the II edition of the bursary’s program of the Minister of Culture “Young Poland”. She has already had a few individual and many group exhibitions in Poland as well as abroad.
Harmonic play of colors and well-thought composition characterize her paintings, which could be described as poetic maps, at the border between dream and consciousness, of her own “backyard”. Her paintings emanate with calmness and spirit. They are full of delicacy and nostalgy. There is no aggression and haunting in them.Their climate reminds of Jerzy Nowosielski's paintings.
