Katarzyna DomańskaThe artist practises hyperrealism – her “smooth” and big oil paintings are similar to enlarged photos. Amusingly, they refer to postcards or photo wallpaper but do not cross the border of kitsch. They say about an affirmation of life and its elusive beauty: about the sunshine reflecting in the ocean bed, the sparkling light eliciting intensive colours of climbing plant leaves are all elusive. |
