ARTeon: Subscription to Art
Latająca Galeria has been spotted and received a good review in an art magazine “ARTeon”. In June there was an article entitled “Subscription to art”. In this article we are described as actually nearly a unique “institution” in Poland, that looks for young, unknown, but highly talented artist creating modern visual arts and promotes them, and what is the most important that tries to make their masterpieces accessible not only for “ a circle of initiated experts”, but for a larger audience. The author of the article underlines that galleries, like ours, are doing very good in Western Europe. In Poland there is a great difficulty because the market of modern visual art is still “in infancy”. It is no easy to convince people to invest their money in young unknown artists.
„Most people responsible for the image of the company are conscious that, an art introduces a touch of passion, that is a human element, to emotionless corporations to emotionless corporations. The slogan “cultural politic” is one of the most important subjects in all companies that respect themselves and their clients. (...) The basic idea of Latająca Galeria is extremely simple: make an art available for the common people...”
